Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi, the Romanian gymnastics coach who would become Comaneci's coach later in life she discovered her when she was six. At first, she competed in the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. In 1972, in the communist nations' meet for junior athletes prior to the Olympics, she won three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974 she won the all-around junior champ. In 1975, she won 4 gold and 1 silver medal in her debut senior competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She won the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first female to do a reverse double salto, which is dismounting from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager, she began performing in travelling shows such as Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry during her teenage year. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment shows Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured skaters ice skating by actors.
