Alexandra Cooper was born on August 21st, 1994 in Newtown, Pennsylvania, to Bryan and Laurie Cooper. Her father was a hockey player at University of Wisconsin. Boston University noticed Cooper's athleticism. They offered a sporting scholarship. Cooper took her Boston University scholarship offer, was a soccer player for the Boston University Division-1's Women's Team throughout her college years. In her senior years, Cooper served as cocaptain. Cooper led her M.C.T. Through her four seasons, she was crowned Prep A and won the distinction of being named the All-Prep First Team. When she was a junior Cooper also made it to the All-Prep and All-Area first teams. Cooper was not just proficient at athletics. While she was in university, her fascination with the realms of entertainment and media was growing. To become an expert in the field she decided to pursue it. When she graduated of Boston University, she earned a degree with honors in the field of Film and Television.
